Lol. Autocorrect is obviously not my friend. Seems to have happened since SwiftKey changed to artificial intelligence

Haha i quite like the idea of a headfi fridge, keep the IEMs nice and cool for hot days.
Yeah artificial intelligence is cool but it still takes so much data to learn to be accurate. I turned auto correct off myself, also on swiftkey.

I guess that the Head-Fi friend you are referring to in the typo post will be cool about it (pun intended).

Very tempted by the Shenzenaudio promotional price! How do you guys think of it compared to some other new offerings in the same price range, like the new iBasso IT03 or any other that i can't remember right now? :D

Tough call. FLC8 seems less source dependent than IT03. With a good match, IT03 can keep up. With a poor match, IT03 sounds muddy and sharp. FLC8S is less source dependent in my experience. It just sounds good no matter what source you use for the most part.

Yeah, when I borrowed the FLC8S for a week or so I never experienced anything that did not sound good on the FLC8S.  I have yet to hear an IEM I like more.  Some might get close but I have not heard anything that beats them at this point in time.  I listened to some $1500 headphones at CES that were billed as "audiophile" and the sound did not match the FLC8S.  I heard some great headphones in the Chord Mojo suite (audeze if I recall) and I do not recall hearing anything significantly better.

I wish I had been in possession of the Chord Mojo and the FLC8S at the same time.  That would have been fun.  NIck; how do you view that match?

I did think the FLC8S was a great match with the Shanling M2.  I would term that a true high fidelity experience.  At a beer price in the grand scheme of audiophile concerns.

I prefer the FLC8S to even the SE846 by a significant margin.  Of course there are things that the 846 do better and that is to a very large degree personal preference.  I wouldn't say they are 'better' than the 846 but I like them more.

(My wallet and me)

I don't know why, but I just pulled the trigger for the FLC8s. I have the Master 4 and 6 coming up (and a lot more) and originally planned on the IBasso IT03.
Well, it makes for super good impressions. This fall was definitely not good for my wallet.

Im tempted by PM4 also.
Missed the deal price but want to see how they compare to FLC8s.
I love my FLCs but for electronic music I just find mid bass to be lacking.
I only bought them 6 months ago so should not be spending over £150 on even more IEMs!

When you get them both please post your throughts. Im hoping PM4 can better the FLCs in mid bass but be nearly as good in detail and sound stage.
