Just got it an hour, I love the bass, slamming my ears. love the sounds even with default tuning.
I went Red, Black, Gold for party time, but might keep it that way! So much bass and so much detail it's insane

Red is a mess. I was blinded by the thunderous bass that bleed into the higher frequencies. But it's bassheads choice for sure. Glad I've tried clear-none-gold out.

I like my bass but yeah wont enjoy if it muddles the midrange,
Currently got red grey gold.

Superior since top to bottom. Better bass quality than DN-1000 and more refined treble, with better mids (true liquid vocals) and instrument separation. Superior 3D imaging. Can't compare to Altone. Better have a look to my review at golden-ear.net for in-depth evaluation of the sound and comparisons.
