I'm listening with the 334's to:
 
 

 
On the cut 'One Word' the separation in the drum solo is nothing short of amazing. I have checked (I keep checking the info, this is not a re-master and it's amazing how good it sounds.

My current tip of choice is the basic silicone single flange that came stock with Sony EX earphones (not the Hybrids). And it has to be the genuine Sonys, because I've tried aftermarket ones which are 'Sony replacements', and the durometer on those is different such that they don't give nearly the detail of the actual Sony EX tips. Must be genuine. Wish I had more extras....
 
Maybe once the Ortofon tips are in at the US distributor those will be the match or even  better. Hope so.

Yes it is expensive For universal iem, but the Sound Quality is Better than My Two custum iem

Jh 16 pro and UM Miracle , In term of clarity , transparancy , separation

The best iem i Ever own Now , Only the big brother fit ear 335 Custom can do Better tahn fit ear. 334 .

I am waiting For fit ear 335 some day going to universal

I like Your review , it is like My impression

With Alo cable For fit ear 334 , i get more refinement what i. Already get from My file ear 334 .

The midrange from fit ear 334 is very special For Me , it is very good For jazz vocal , audiophile

Westerm and Mandarin .

I find their sound perfect for any genre of music really, because of their ability to place instruments within such a 3D space... And I agree- jazz, acoustic, and vocals sound absolutely amazing. 
 
Scary thing is though, if taken at retail the TG!334 with ALO sxc cable comes to $1628!

I actually never find the 334 lacking on highs... Sometimes I even find it a little too bright as compare to Westone4 which is my standard of "neutral" lol

I don't either, I was just mentioning some of the other owners' comments for balanced perspective. I don't find the highs laid back or lacking in the least, although other phones I own do have more top end shimmer, or 'emphasis' if you will. But they don't sound any better for that. Actually I prefer the quality of the treble on the 334s any day of the week.
 
And I agree that the W4's treble is more understated and laid back (when I had them for a week to demo and compare)....

betther than JH 16 pro? Well, i would still prefer a custom IEM (UE 18 pro/ JH 16 PROI) than the universal ones

The First Time i heard In June 2012 fit ear 334 Sound excelent , the latest batch. From

5 November 2012 more open than before , i love My fit ear 334 more and more .

Direct With iPad 3 Sound so good , If i want more Power i use My pico slim With

Iphone 4 S Sound is Better .

The best set Up For fit ear 334 are : Alo Class solo + Iphone 4 S + Alo Rx 3 B = Sound Quality

Heaven For Me .

Minus Only A little hiss from My Alo Rx 3 B

also try the 000 Cables, it adds more depth, wider and taller soundstage

Yes , i have these 2 Custom iem jh 16 pro and UM Miracle .
In term of clarity , transparancy , separation , specially the midrange .
It is very good For long listeningand For long distance traveling , Dies not fatigue In My ears
This is All My personel opinion
