What kind of Dap you guys are using with the TG334 these days? I'm still using the old dx90 using high gain. I have other newer Dap like Cayin n5, plenue D, but seems like the DX90 is still the one I go to for tg334. Alas, dx90 is aging.... Been thinking of Vc VALOQ lately, any other thoughts?

We are using AK240 with ours.

Mmmm......ak 240, 380 cu, ibasso dx 100, sony zx 2, hifiman hm 901s, hm 801  and sony pcm d100. Of those, I seem to prefer the pcm d100 and the hifiman hm 801 with the tg 334.

My exact sentiment. Before I got my second pair of TG334, I was using K10U and thought it was so balanced...until I received my TG334 and damn, makes the K10U so thin sounding..

I will second that!
I have a K10C, which is great until I A/B with TG334.
Took GeorgeLai57's advise and demo-ed and bought the MH335DW and I haven't touched the K10C since!
The 335DW-SR seem to have insulated the vibration / reverbs, so instead of a large concert hall, you are brought into a small padded room. Not my kind of thing, but I can understand its appeal to some.

Regarding DAP, AKs gives me the fullest surround feel (but pity it doesn't have a Spotify option). DP-X1 has the Spotify option and while its dual DAC is very apparent, it feels thin and a lot less enveloping compared to the AKs.

Anyone tried the 006b balanced cable? How it compare to 001 or 000 cable?

Are you comparing balanced vs SE or cable vs cable?

For balanced vs SE using the same cable, I prefer balanced. More airy and open sounding.

I don't have 000 but do have 006 and 001. Prefer 001, more dimensional and open compared to 006. But there's a little edge to the 001 that I don't like. Also tried something like Toxic Sw and Dhc Sp, which are even more open sounding without the edge.

For personal taste, I prefer hybrid for the TG334 as to preserve the lushness and weight of the sound. Currently using a balanced hybrid from Plussound.

The TG334 will not disappoint your ears for sure!
Different cables and eartips change the sound considerably.

The 334 shell design is not comfortable on my ears, but I keep going back to them for serious listening sessions, as have yet to find anything else with such incredible midrange and soundstage.

I ordered the 006b balanced cable for hm901s. Going to compare it with my existing 000 cable(SE) costing 3x more. Which one do u guys think is better? Will reveal my own opinions after I got the 006B balanced
