Yes please do write review / impressions especially comparing this with your Ety .. (btw. is it Ety ER-4 that you have ?)

No, it's the HF3, which I actually enjoyed more than the ER4 when I had the ER4s. Of course, I owned the ER4Bs, which I've heard are very hit or miss (they have a very annoying treble spike that I really couldn't stand; never understood sibilance until I heard them). I'll try to do a W4R/GR10/F111 comparison this weekend. Currently, I think the F111 is the keeper, but the others have a lot of merits too. The HF3 has been with me for a really long time and with it's absolutely perfect fit, great price, and very decent sound, I don't see myself selling them in the near future at all.

Well I read the F111 was designed with similar FR as the Ety ER-4. Wondering if this translates into similar kind of sound between the two.

Yes, it's supposed to use the same driver. I'm actually surprised no one has compared the two yet. I can't really do so, since it's been a while since I've heard the ER4s.

Here you go buddy:

I heard the F111 today (also compared them to the ER4P and ER4B).

These things really do put the Fit in FitEar, at least for my ears. As several members know, my one big gripe about the ER4 was the alien-probe fit. I'm happy to report that, at least for my small, oval, finicky ear canals, the F111 is a match made in heaven. I'd previously been a bit apprehensive about the fit, but the fit on the F111 is better than the TO GO! 334 and comes by far the closest to the comfort of a full custom, at least for me. Say goodbye to the pain and suffering that the ER4 brought me! I actually do get a 2nd bend fit with the F111. With the medium-sized double flange tips from the Sennheiser IE8/80, I get a perfect seal that equals the levels of isolation as the ER4.

Obviously, YMMV (I shouldn't need to write this).

To the sound --- the F111 really is an easy-to-drive ER4S. It's as easy to drive as the ER4P off an iPod, yet it noticeably more accurate-sounding than the ER4P, and responds extremely close to the ER4B under 9 kHz or so, in my brief comparison. The difference is that, whereas the ER4B sounded like it was sucking the power out of my iPod Touch, making things sound scratchy, the F111 was easily powered and still sounded smooth, like an ER4S/B sounds off an amplifier. I don't know what sort of hocus pocus FitEar did with that horn-shaped titanium nozzle, but it just works. It too uses the same 1500 ohm green damper at the front, but it's now terminated with an extra titanium horn.

For binaural stuff, the ER4B is still king. I wish I had the ER4S on hand to compare. Something tells me the two would be hard to tell apart.

Thanks audionewbi

So, I guess the F111 has a very similar sound compared to Ety ER4 with the exception of better fitting and easier to drive.

I wish I could tell, I wanted to purchase it but after reading that post and considering how I have two very good amp I really see no point in spending $580 for a single BA IEM.

Just purchased the F111 from Dimitri from musica acoustica, he was really helpful. I am not even going to think about how am I going to pay for it and just keep focus on my coming head to head comparasion against the ER4S and the R-1L.

If anyone's interested in the F111, I wrote a quick comparison: http://www.head-fi.org/t/661625/review-fitear-f111-westone-4-and-grado-gr10-a-beautiful-midrange

I think the different between F111 and AK100-111iS just the cable
F111--003
AK100-111iS--001
Also the price of AK100-111iS is cheaper then F111(change 003 to 001,the Pelican case)

F111 arrived this morning, first thing first I am just amazed how good it sounds right out of ipod nano. I was not expecting it to sound this good. It sounds is not a clone of ER4S, it sounds much wider than ER4S.
Did I say how it sounds right out of ipod nano? Going to spend the week it it and next week I will compare it with other stuff.

For me that is the beauty of the F111, sounding great with normal sources. Actually I did not feel it scaled up significantly to justify using the DX100 I had with me when I auditioned it. I listened with a Galaxy S3 at the time
