First headphones after discovering Head-Fi

Found Head-Fi a month ago. So since then I modded my Sennheiser HD 205 with Beyerdynamics EDT 250 velour pads to increase compfort. Also spend £50 on Sennheiser HD 218i and couple days ago bougth Sennheiser HD 518 for £100. :)
I really like both of them now, especially the HD 518, which have only had 10 hours of burn-in and already shine compared to when I got them out of the box.

Found head-fi 2 and a bit years ago, got a pair of ATH-M50s a while later. They were the FOTM at that time, and still are in a way. A good pair of headphones for the price.

Sennheiser HD650, bought the 598:s a month earlier and was impressed (coming from skullcandy some thing or another), read some reviews here and a couple of days later the 650:s arrived at my doorstep closely followed by the LD Mk III.

Joined a little over a week ago. My first pair of headphones purchased due to this community are the Denon AHD2000 with a Fiio E7 DAC/Amp paired with the Fiio E9 desktop amp. Int total this order has cost me nearly $500. All my new equipment is supposed to arrive tomorrow afternoon, so I am pretty excited.

My first pair after starting to browse here was the HFI-780.  Loved them, but wanted more bass, so after exhaustive research I almost bought the HFI-580, but upgrade-itis won out and I got the Pro 900.  In the meantime during all that research I also picked up a couple of "cheap" cans (XB-500 and RP-HTF600), as well as an HD-600 for my non-basshead needs.  Then it just snowballed from there.

Discovered Head-fi last week and it hasn't been easy on my savings.
Bought the HiFiMan HE-500 last thursday for 4900 NOK (approx 875 USD) after reading all the great reviews here.
Unfortunately my DAC/amp isn't quite up to the task, so they have to be upgraded as well. Help!

Grado sr60i, bought them about a year before I registered on the forum. Don't think I'll ever get rid of em. Still plan to try out some of the more in depth mods.
