Damn, am I loving this DAP after a couple days!

What are your favorite players for the DAP?

Surprisingly, after sampling a handful of them briefly, I keep finding myself back to the FIIO Music app for its sheer detail and soundstaging without being harsh on my ears.

I’ve also tried Neutron, PowerAmp, Onkyo HF, and Jet. None seems to marry detail with musicality as seamlessly as the stock app for me...

What’s everyone else using?

FiiO music app always sounded the best for me. Only tried Neutron and PowerAmp for their reputation on sound quality and usability, Neutron is a great app but FiiO app is so detailed and sounds so good... and really improved in last two years,

Neutron sounds pretty great to my ears. I'd use the FiiO Music app more often, but I tend to shuffle my music, so not having Replaygain available can be a bummer.

I agree. On a per album playing experience I don't mind adjusting volume once, but when shuffling its really important. We are getting a new firmware this week or next, so lets cross fingers.

Have had mine for a week, still trying to figure out the ins and outs.
One thing that (kind of) annoys me is that it goes into this auto-shutdown mode when you disconnect it from the dock (RM-1).
Is there any way to disable that?
