Yes, EA Audio is selling the X7ii on eBay for £509.15. With the 10% eBay charges you in fees, that equates to them receiving £458.24, but last week, they wouldn't sell me one directly with the VAT off for £499. Massive lol.

That's why I I have spent £4750 with AdvancedMP3Players.co.uk since June and sweat fu&k all with EA Audio.

I live in England so VAT off is not an option for me. At first, I went to AMP3 as they provided my X5iii, but I bought direct from EA Audio this time as I could only get 10% off from AMP3. Ironically, I was originally only asking AMP3 for 15% off Shanling M2s but could not resist when I saw 15% off X7ii by EA Audio. I know AMP3 do offer 15% codes, such as Spooky15% at Halloween. Who knows, they might even do it on Friday? C'est la vie!

Nearly £5k? You must have a shelf full of stuff since they don't do fancy floor standing speakers or high-end receiver / amplifiers. For that money, you must be an AK fan:ksc75smile:

My IEM experience with AM5 is limited to AKT8iE, AK JH Rosie, and Hifiman RE2000. But I had no problem driving them. No hissing.
But for very sensitive IEMs, like Andromeda, I have no idea.

Thank you Giraku. :D

Proud new owner here. Any tips for initial setup, file management, and music apps?

Thanks so much!

All X7 amps are compatible with the X7ii and the AM3A amp that comes as standard with the X7ii is compatible with the original X7.
Glad to know that. Hehe. Thanks.

Hey @Snowball0906 ,

I've been seeing you asking quite a bit about DAPs,

Honestly, I think that if you give us a few details about what you want, it might be simpler to give advice!

I honestly think that X7mkii will make most folks very happy, and it is a dream DAP at this moment. I've been using it for a while now, 100% stable, no issues, a really good DAP, and with FiiO's Black Friday sales, you should be able to get a great deal on it!
