I think he removed the original screen protector because there was a piece of debris under it. He expressed this in a previous post.

Exactly. The X7 II comes with screen protector pre-instaled.However, mine had a quite big spec of dust under the protector. I could have lived with it if it was not black, big and right in the centre of the screen so pretty visible:) once removed to clean the screen, the screen protector couldn't be reinstalled properly so I tried one for the first X7 but it is maybe half millimetre too long.

Hello guys, enjoying a big ISO wave file, recognized only by Neutron... I wonder why the FiiO app is not reading the file. Anyway, in one word: amazing...

Hi, thanks for the interest. The file is huge for being an audio track, about 1.60GB.
The main parameters are the following ones:
192 kHz, 24 bit, 5.2 Mbps, WV file format.

Anyway I'm starting to appreciate the extreme capability of showing and imaging any detail on the track with the FiiO X7ii hardware. Very happy at the moment! Thanks!

just checked with our engineer and they said our DAPs can't support .wv format but maybe we can try when we have time cause there are very few music use this format.

A lot of the high end player/rippers like Naim and Melco all rip to .wav, copies from them on NAS are also stored as .wav so it may be more popular than you think. When I fill my x7ii my Melco transcodes to uncompressed or compressed FLAC depending on how I set the transfer. .WAV are on the whole too large for DAPs, at least to get a lot of music on one.

It has nothing to do with a blog traffic or YT channel subscribers or the amount of Likes received on head-fi. Don't you agree? At least I want to believe that lol!!!!

Actually if I was the company it would be the first thing I look at. For a company most of the time, it's of no use to send a sample to a site with 5000 reach a month, where a 400K site gets the name out there. So I'd say it's very much about the traffic and amount of subscribers on YT, etc.

Just my 2c

.wav it's not equal to .wv

Yes Lieven, you and Marcus with Headfonics and Headfonia have impressive traffic, but you are running a pro review sites that have been around for awhile, and it's an exception. But that wasn't my point, refering to FiiO not making it as a priority to send samples only to sponsored review sites with high traffic or YT channel with the most views. From my experience of dealing with them (I have reviewed over 25 of their products, with majority even before I started my blog last year), they care more about the review being honest even if it's not always a positive one. And I respect that!
