Any news about the possibility of saving Tidal music offline to the SD card? I am waiting for this option to decide if I am selling my X7 or keeping it.

I would say the AM3 balanced module is the best. Otherwise, if you need single-ended, then go for AM5.

Got it. I'm wondering how my Shure 1540's would sound in balanced mode.

Any balanced heaphones that have good soundstage and instrumental separation will take advantage, given that AM3(bal) has much better channel separation. For example HE-1000

here is a picture show how the amp6 module work with a special edition DN4001. 
 

 
 
you can see the left is for most headphone amp with a 4001 hybird headphones. but question is the sound is not nature cause the passive filter can seperate the bass with treble/middle very well, 
 
with the amp6, it can drive the bass and treble/middle directly , and the active filter has far more better performance than the pass filter. ( low pass, band pass, high pass.....). 
 
there are quite some expensive speakers with this design. of course, more active speakers only drive by 2 channel amp .

Hi, i have just bought an x7/am2 and in Fiiomusic it is fine but i am having problems with DLNA.
 
I want to stream from my hardisc to the x7 and the x7 will find the server and then the itunes folder - it then shows empty when i try display the music - it seems not to want to display anything below the itunes folder.
 
Any suggestions -  i am using a PC with win10 (totally up to date)

Need help with an upgrade to my iem for my fiio x7 am1. Currently I'm using rha t20i and ue900. I was reading the wonderful reviews about shure se846 and am tempted. I have not read too many impressions of the 846 with x7. Wondering if someone can help me with their first hand impressions. Thanks in advance.

I have the se535 with x7/am2 and although i have only had them for a few days, i am delighted as i listen primarily to vocal music and from the reviews suggest that the se846 is not so vocal centric as the se535.
