Someone who actually tried that specific cable should tell if the connectors are ordered to work with the plug, I'm unsure if this exact cable uses the exact standard. 
 
From the pictures, it should work, but I;m still waiting on AM3 to arrive in Romania. Can only say that by the looks of it, it should work.

James - look into an app called Slack. It is on a lot of platforms and can also be web based. Real-time chat and message system. Allows you to have private conversations within a Group environment. Perfect for feedback in a beta testing environment

I think a simple group pm message would be easiest for FiiO to implement.

do you have bug tracking site for us to report bug ? the era has changed when the device get complex more bugs will be introduced and if you have a system to track bugs and features progress i think it will speed up the timeline to make x7 is real matured android dap

This was once the bug reporting platform I was asked to create. It's not paid for anymore but I can still access it, dunno about you guys.

Just to show that it could be done and was done in the past, I'm not suggesting that you file your bugs there--they certainly won't receive any attention there now...

Hey, sorry if I'm not posting in the right place.
I was wondering if there is a way to change the EQ for the x7, not just the music player app. As in, I'm using Tidal streaming, which sounds gorgeous,EXCEPT I find the treble quite harsh with the default sound signature - to the point I can't listen to some songs at a volume I enjoy otherwise.
Is there any way I can turn down the treble for the output generally, instead of only for the music app?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's an esoteric question haha unfortunately I've gifted my X7 to somebody so I can't test it for you...

It installs and works on the X7 more easily than 99% of current Android devices... :etysmile: It doesn't work with FiiO Music but that's another matter entirely...
