  have new amp modules been released and how much they cost

 
This question seems to pop up every 3 days

- the mid power module has been released on China only for very limited quantity (130 units so far), but as you can see, a few of us already got our hand on it. Price is around US$110 or so and full international release is expected after Chinese New Year holiday, probably in March by the time it hits the market. High power module is expected to be next, followed by balanced module sometime in May.

you also get a notification over wifi if firmware ver installed is 1.3 and above

Thanks for the reply, i was myself also wondering about it
Do you know (maybe James spoke about it but I didn't find it among the 627 pages...) whether Fiio will sell the X7 directly with another amp module, or will the standard always come as a default set?

FiiO posted something last month which pretty much confirms that all X7 will have the stock IEM module and they have no plan to create different package because that will substantially increase the cost and complexity of their stocking.

I guess finally we will sell non-amped X7 so people can buy the X7 with any amp module thay needs in the future.

If you guys are redoing the balanced module you guys should try to make it more powerful.
 
The current specs are kinda weak... it would be better if it had the power of the medium module at least

we can only answer this question when Seiun's DAPs launch market. as you can see there are quite some project seems have problem before they finally launch.
