Might need some tpu case to protect the screen when placed face down or if you drop it.  Screen protector is only good for scratches.  Considering the size, a typical smartphone protection wouldn't be a bad idea, even down to a tempered glass

Im sure after a small adjustment period, most people will remember the location of the buttons. Glass facing forward, volume rockers on the left. Easy enough. I don't foresee this being a problem. Certainly not ideal for some and I understand the gripe, but easy to live with.

World premiere? When does pre-orders start?
Until now all we had are some rumors about august in China and december for the rest of the world.
 
James do you have some concrete ideas about first round of sales? You've mentioned something about 64gb version in pre-order... Maybe some deluxe limited package? 64gb version + 2 amp modules (e.g. IEM and balanced) for 800$ in preorder?

While I'm as excited over this as you and most of the rest here, at least James has been providing us with periodic updates. There nothing coming from iBasso about their upcoming DAPs. XD

IEM module, high powered module ~500mA, and a Balanced RSA module is all they've said....... Buried somewhere in the depths of this thread.

Ships with the IEM module.

yes, it is not hard to find which button you are press cause the shape of the body.

not decided yet but is should be quite cheap compared with other brand.
