Don't know if this has been talked before, but what about network streaming? Natively? Because obviously I could use it with the neutron app, but would be nice to use it within the X7 only... Why this you may ask? Isn't the internal + microsdxc capacity enough? Sure it might be, but could also be used for file administration porpoises. Say I have album A by artist 1, then buy CD B by 1, could rip it save it in my NAS, then just download it to the X7, while deleting artist 2, sure enough all of this while tethered to my phone and accessing my NAS from say another country. So again why? Because is nice to belive there are no limits

 
 
yes, it is on the plan but it may not supports at first cause too many feactures to be added.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but since this runs a modified version of android, I was thinking that supporting apps like tidal would be extremely useful and powerful for a device like this. J0ng0m, I think that's similar to what you mentioned.

BTW, questions come, should it supports the 2.5mm balanced headphone cable for AK series or 3.5mm balanced headphone cable for HiFiMan ?

The 4-pin Kobiconn is an interesting idea and it would work well with my intruder but if there is one connector and not this one to choose from, I'd rather want the 3.5 mm version as opposed to the smaller 2.5 mm version. I would most likely rewire my phones myself so not a concern for getting adapters or cables using that connector.

Yeah nice. Since you are already working on a VU Meter, you might also consider a classic spectrum-view like the Oppo HA-1 or the Squeezebox classic have.

They have already committed to coaxial output, not optical. FiiO has coaxial in all their players, which IMO is a better option for a portable unit.
