How do you guys upgrade FW OTA? I'm on beta 3.09 and can't seem to do it OTA.

I'm currently happy with no issues with the FW I am using, is it worth the upgrade to latest beta considering all the feedback we've been getting from the latest?

download the X7-ota-3.1.1_beta.zip, put it in the root of the on-board storage of the X7, open the FiiO technical support app, select firmware update, local upgrade, internal_sd, select the X7-ota-3.1.1_beta.zip.

if you like gapless, go with the latest.

just update to fw3.1.1 and now I cannot play some of my music collection with stock fiio player, its just back to player home screen everytime I tap on a song on my library, some will play and some will not play. I am buying all of my music collection from itunes. Please any fix on this?

Just find a fix for this, app reset by clearing the fiio music app data will fix this, and now I am in a happy place

Thanks. Will give it a go later. Does this version detect all album art already?

What is the general rule in using jpeg as album art inside a folder, any limit as to resolution? Is png allowed?

Thanks.

I have another issue with x7, if I change track while in the middle of a song, then the next track would skip a few seconds in the beginning.. It doesn't happen if it change track automatically after the song is finished though..

It also happen after boot or reboot and one start first Song manually.

Dear users,

This issue happens in Andriod mode or Pure music mode?
Do you mean the first few seconds will have no sound but it should have? What's your firmware version? And what's the format of your songs? You are putting the songs in internal storage or external TF card?

Best regards

HI guys
It's no matter what of files I'm listening to and when they are placed in It's occur every time I'm playing music

Dear boris65,

Did you try clear the data for the FiiO music or do a factory restore before to see whether it helps? And no matter your songs are put in internal storage or external storage, the same issue remains?

Best regards

If I get the problem again I'll save the app logs, sorry forgot to save them before factory reset.

Dear Paulo Abreu,

Ok, thank you for the feedback.

3. FW 3.1.1
4. Concerns Apple Lossles and AIF Formats i tested.

Yes, it happens on both mode..
The music will start like from 00:02 not from 00:00
It happened to me in firmware 3.09 and 3.1.1
I'm using FLAC and MP3 on both internal and external storage..

It' a great sounding DAP though.. it would be great if the bugs can be fixed
