I had to go back to the 1.0.9 ROM, which works great for me.

The latest one causes some issues:
- Rockbox app was not loading (black screen) - that's the one I'm using on daily basis
- the music scan on Fiio app was extremely slow

Anyone else experienced similar issues?

Same thing happend to me.
The device system is awfully slow.

I would suggest transforming the FLACs to 16 Bit for better compatibility with portable devices if possible.

Didn't FiiO mention that some HD files are harder to process and thus cannot work with Viper and EQ effects?

Ok. In last Firmware 1.1.4. FLAC 24 bit with ViPER effects work correct. On Previous PURIST REMIXED work correct.

Yes the latest version does negatively impact the fluidity of the device. Scanning files, changing apps, opening apps all have slowed in the latest version.

Almost like the processor has been under clocked .

Had to go back to an older version.

Not really slow, but with a little delay.

Unfortunately, I have deleted mine. Has the 1.0.9 rom been pulled away? Cannot find it in the thread...

Superb where when someone have backit up with flashify app or something and post it... the latest Rom is terrible slow, i have root, xposed, even on perfomance governour the system lags..
