Fiio, In folder view I have the folders by the name of the artist. It is in alphabetical order A to Z but when you get to S,T,W or whatever it is out of order. Example: Santana,Scorpions,Sting,Saga,Steely Dan,Saga and so on. The second letter is out of order. The folder of the artist that has several albums in it is out of order also. This is not a problem with my X3 1st Gen or X5 2nd Gen using the same mSD cards. Firmware is 1.1.4 and has been cleaned and a re-scan.       Also, is there a way to add an option to convert DSD to PCM so when I'm using Bluetooth it will play those files?

  @FiiO There is a problem with selecting the next and the previous track while pausing the currently playing song in an album/folder. For example, I am on track 4 and paused it and press the on screen back button, ideally it should go to track 3 from the start in the pause mode itself. But the track 3 starts playing from the start. Even if i am in the middle of track 4 and want to listen to it again from the start after pausing the track, it will get to the start and start playing the track and not stay in the paused mode at the start. I am not sure if there are any in-player settings for this. This might be a small issue but can a fix for this be provided?

No sure whether I get your point.
 
If the current song has been played more than 10s, the current play position will return to the start of current song instead of the previous song when you press the previous song button.  
If the current song hasn't been played more than 10s, the current play position will return to the previous song when you press the previous song button.  
It is designed to act like that since our first DAP. And most users would prefer this feature. 
 
Or what's the resume mode you are using?

Not sure if this is Fiio related (although it didn't happen on Cayin i5), but worth a try.
 
I'm using the Rockbox app and having few issues:
1. play/pause, forwards/backwards don't work when screen off
2. When using play/pause, Rockbox always crashes (after turning screen on). Then when I go back to the app two things happen additionally: resuming always from beginning of the song and very often volume is set automatically to max (I'm scared to put on my IEMs before checking the volume ).

1.Why the physical buttons of X5III could not function perfectly on some third-party APPs?
A: The button of X5III(X7) is strictly based on Android definition. However, third-party APP would make its own definition while using system buttons. So the button definition of system itself and third-party APP might be conflicted. We couldn't change the button definition of third party APP. Therefore, the play/pause or previous/next track button might not able to work perfectly when using third-party APP (These APPs might work fine on cellphones cause most of the cellphones only have volume button for adjustment and no next/previous track button).
2. Are you using the version in FiiO Market? We will report to our engineers and have a look about that.

  I'm still having an issue where slot 2 keeps unmounting / disappearing. I'm in Pure Music Mode, and whenever I pause a song, wait... then press play, it either says "music file does not exist" or it restarts the song after a bit.

Sorry to hear about that.What's the format of your TF card? You may try to return to Android mode and clear the data (Settings--Apps--All--Clear the data) of FiiO Music to see whether it helps?

New option should be “ADD To Now Playing”
 
That way the current users folder/playlist selections aren't changed and the user can continue listening to the cued songs.
 

The way the X5 is set now, the player switches to the folder where the file was found, and the users cued files are lost.
Quite annoying.
 

The “ADD To Now Playing” option should also be available for any file selected while listening to a cue/folder/playlist.

​I left X5 in pure music mode, screen off with nothing playing for about 1 hour and noted from a 100% charged state it dropped to 96%. Is this normal? And if so why is it losing power while only having low power blue light on. Both WiFi and Bluetooth were disconnected, so don't toss that into the mix.

I wouldn't go that far. It's only because it would inherently break pure audio mode which I honestly don't care for. As an android power user, it would take A LOT to shoot myself in the foot. I thought their android version would be more flexible than this...

I have a questions to the X5 iii owners:
 
Do you have any issues with the "Fire EQ" of the Viber effects?
I can use the sliders, but it does not have any effect at all! Exactly the same as the Spotify EQ.
Of course Viber is switched on and I am also connected with the internet. I have even reseted the device several times!
 
In addition, Spotify download content gets automatically deleted on a regular base! I heard this seems to be a general problem of Spotify, but it also somehow has to be linked to the deveice, because I never ever had this problem on my DP-X1 that I have used more than a year...
 
Does anybody else have these problems or can check whether you Viber EQ works?

Did you switch to another TF card when using the Spotify? Or you can see the capacity of the Spotify folder get smaller? Can you play the downloaded song still?
