I spend over a grand on a few earphones from Best Buy.  I had to exchange one of them a few times due to problems.  I ordered a different pair later and kept the ones I exchanged figuring it was a lost cause.  The next earphones I ordered they sent me a different item that was much cheaper and not at all the earphones I ordered then they said too bad you are on our problem customer list and are not allowed to return them by sending them in or in store.  Their answer was screw you when I inquired the final time.  I paid with a Best buy gift card because I have no credit or debit cards.

I had several Ipods at one time.  I sent one in for warranty that was covered under warranty.  They receive the Ipod and then they say they test it and then tell me it was not covered under warranty.  I call Apple when I get the email about not being covered under warranty.  I asked why it wasn't covered.  The Apple person said that I have been labeled a problem customer and that the technician who worked on my Ipod intentionally spilled liquid on it to void the warranty.  They Apple person said they keep a bottle of liquid around the technicians to spill on prudcts that are sent in for warranty if they don't want to warranty it.  They put me on a bad customer list.

Some companies just label people as bad customers because they don't want to sell to them or something.  There really is no reasoning for it.  It is just because they can.

Good Luck

That doesn't sound at all realistic, and I can't for the life of me believe a company representative would mean those things.

I know.  I get it.  I think Apple is arrogant and Best Buy as well.  They told me those things.  It is not right and therefore I don't buy anything from those companies anymore.  I haven't for a few years.  This was all a few years ago.

Please pm me if you would like to discus this further.  This is not the proper venue for this discussion.

Thank you

Would it be better for Fiio to make different X5 3 stacking kits for specific amps and dacs?  I plan on someday down the road getting a Mojo.  I would prefer something secure that won't allow either device to come apart from each other.

  Dear Fiio,

when will red version be available in Europe? And if you can, give us more photos of red version pls.

And question about review tour: can you give us (reviewers in Czech republic) a bit more info on how many of us are there and what is the order in which we will receive it? Player seems to be available in local shops in a few days, where i can go and try it out there, so im starting to kinda wonder on what's the point of getting review unit after player is already out there.

Thanks for reply

I'm sure they'd rather create a "one size fits all" kit, cheaper and easier for them to produce

yes, it cost too much money and lots of human resource to make so many accessories .  in fact, it is a losing business unless the sales amount is huge.

Thanks - there were a few concerns of smaller DACs (mojo) slipping out of the bands as it looks like it was only supported on the shorter edges.

Appreciate you taking the time to listen to our suggestions

I don't really sell stuff.  I am in a small town in Northern California and nobody around here is into high end audio.  Also I don't have bank accounts or credit cards so Paypal won't work and I don't like to sell stuff online.  It makes me too uneasy being at risk of a scam.

Cheers

Quite the story between being off the grid and some real issues with Apple and Best Buy.
