No stock will ship until 10th and boy oh boy will it be limited. Certainly in the UK. I'm sold out and backordered till just prior to the show. It's going to be a seriously popular product as at this price I don't believe much comes close.

I did not mean they shipped to customers, I mean Fiio shipped to AVShop.
Fiio listed on thier site that they have shipped it to them and I then emailed them to ask. They confirmed they will get stock this weekend and will put it up for order start of next week ready to ship.
 
EA Audio just updated now to show 28/02/2017 as stock due in date.

Hi everyone,
 
The X5 III will be at home in a few days. Owning the Cardas A8 and liking its sound signature right out of my iPhone6S (Tidal), could anyone tell me if the slightly warm and treble rolled-off sound will match the X5 III? Would it be possible to get a "significant" better sound with another set of IEM that can be worn down within a USD 300.- budget?

Comparing only the price of the X5 3 to the original X5 the X5 3 wins.  I think the X5 3 is a much better deal at $400.00 than I paid for my X5 original.  I don't have an X5 3, but you get much nicer accessories included with the X5 3 and it is a much nicer looking device with a touchscreen and what appears like easier and smoother UI.  I don't feel I got ripped off when I paid $350.00 for my old X5, but I feel the X5 3 is a much better value and much more up to date design just by looks.

Considering their production date and such, I actually paid 370$ for my first X5 DAP and I was very happpy with it - a great companion through it's time. Same can be said for X5ii for which I paid even more when I first bought it if I remember well. FiiO DAPs have been a nice and fun  experience for me so far and X5-3 looks like it is going to be the same way.

I have playlists that have songs on 2 micro sd cards that are all set up for my original X5.  They work perfectly with my original X5.  Do I need to make any changes for those playlists when I do buy an X5 3 and load them on to the X5 3 micro sd cards?  Or am I good?

Hello guys! I wonder if anyone has tried fiio x5 iii with Final Audio Heaven 8? Initially Im planning to get a DAC and however, after trying, FAD heaven 8 with IFI Micro IDSD Black Label, the DAC seems to be too powerful for my heaven 8. And now im planning to get fiio x5 iii. I wonder if its compatible with my IEM?
