sorry if i'm late on this, but will this device have a bookmarking feature, similar to the Sandisk Sansa Clip plus?
 
I'm through to my fourth sansa clip and i'm appalled with the rate that they are breaking and falling apart....
 
I listen to a lot of podcasts and also appreciate HQ music so a bookmarking feature would absolutely nail it for this x5..
 
I see a lot of people have requested this feature, but is Fiio listening?

Wish Fiio would juse make an official stacking kit like they have done before (X7 excluded for obvious reasons)

 
Dual Lock as is the consensus works very well. A stacking kit would be awesome. I have the A5 too and am currently using the band on both the extreme edges (as would be logical) and its working well as a temporary arrangement. You're absolutely right in wanting FiiO to consider a stacking kit for the X5 III.
 
Also i'm trying something new, which has a paper thin profile and has adhesive on both sides. The only thing that remains to be seen is the cohesive strength. Will let you know how that goes. fingers crossed!

X5iii? 3m Dual Lock has been mentioned.
Otherwise use the thick rubber bands packaged with the A5 and place them around the very top and bottom edgs of the DAP

I used to use the rubber bands with my past DAPs, they make a fine soltion as they are, but the stack looks like a bomb and you do get a few weird looks when you pul it out of your pocket 

Yeah I agree with dual lock as well, I have used my dual locked stack for over 2 years now and it still works great.  It is much better than regular velcro as the components snap apart instead of having to be pulled apart with velcro.  It has a lower profile than velcro to so the devices sit closer together

One strip of velcro holds my hugo to my phone. I can shake it and the hugo stays on.

I hope Fiio fix the delay on changing tracks after adjusting the volume. When the screen is off, changing tracks using the buttons, I have to wait 2 to 3 seconds after I change the volume. It's so annoying since I need to press the next track buttons 3x before it registers.
 
Also, I wish there is a way to pay for viper effects using Google Pay, there is also a cutoff in the songs before it starts with the Viper on. Less than a second, also annoying especially when you're expecting a note right after you press start, and It's gone.
 
And, I hope they add a function to hide and select folders that will show in the Folder Tab. Every time I restart folders "Android" and "LOST.DIR" always pop up and I had to delete them from time to time.
 
Btw, does the RM1 works with X5iii?

Glad to hear that, I am thinking of powering the 400i or HD650 (I know it's hard to drive) with an 1.A5 for portable use and for my PC thinking of getting 2.Modi2 uber/Magni2 uber or 3. O2+ODAC which sounds better? Most of the guys say that 4. Mojo can't bring the best out of the HD650s. If Mojo is as good as 2 and 3, I can simply get Mojo which serves as my DAC and AMP.
 
I know it's an irrelevant question in this thread but any thoughts would be very helpful.
 
I am really confused of the sound signature of X5 3. I had the original X5 for a while and it sounded slightly warm to me than the X7. How good is the X5 3 compared to X5?
 
I don't like too much warm sound.

Tom , The X5 3rd gen is not ready for the US market now , it will be released into the whole market at the end of this month , at that time , you can order it at Amazon.com , or any retails store we have in the US.
