I have the N3 and the X1II (uses one of the same DAC chip as X3III) and I prefer the sound of the N3. Swapping IEMs with the X1II helped, but the N3 still sounds better IMO. I hope FiiO did better job with the X3III than they did with the X1II. The X3III will be competing with the N3 and M2s and these devices came working correctly from the start (N3 did anyway, not sure about the M2s) and have quite the satisfied customers.

Bu the X1II is a different player. So you cannot compare the X1II to the X3III without having both to compare.
I didn't compare the X1II to the X3III because I can't. I compared the X1II to the N3. The X1II has the same DAC chip as the new X3III (although it has two of them). I also said I thought the N3 sounded better than the X1II and hoped that FiiO does a better job with the X3III than they did with the X1II. I thought I made that pretty clear, but I guess not.

Not even about the unbalanced 3.5, as far as I know. I asked here about it, Fiio didn't reply.
Dear friend,

Sorry if missing your question. Hope the following picture helps. We will add the specification in our website soon.
