    Yes me too. I like that it takes from the X1II and will hopefully be a much better DAP.

    X5 III uses a rockchip soc and runs android, X1 II (likely X3 III too) uses jz4760 and runs linux.
    Furthermore, the shanling M1 (and similar devices) uses x1000 (also mips) yet does aptX as well.

    Qualcomm refused to provide the apt-x original code so we can includes in the X1II/X3III, I have not idea what other brand can do but it is not listed on Qualcomm's APTX website.

    As FiiO is now promoting balanced why not they decided to abandon the outdated flimsy 2.5mm standard and moved to 4.4mm?

    Maybe because Sony is the only one using 4.4mm and everyone else is either using 3.5mm or 2.5mm. Personally I prefer the 2.5mm.

    I would love if everyone would use the same standard, but 2.5mm seems the most understandable, I would want to have a different size from 3.5mm and 2.5mm sees to be used by the largest number of companies.
