I am not frustrated at all. My main Bluetooth DAC/Headphone Amp this period is the iFi GO Pod. It works flawlessly using LDAC 990/909kbps with all of my devices, the BTA30 Pro, included! My UTWS5 remains inside its case for days now. I am only using my second pair, running firmware v1.5, with my laptop to watch a film/TV series in the evenings.

Furthermore, I never use my BTA 30 Pro because I do not own a desktop computer. I am using laptops.

The only reason I am reporting these issues here is because @FiiO needs to take their firmware implementation and App development seriously! Not give one new feature and break another two.

You have repeatedly praised the Go Pods, and I am happy you are enjoying them. However, you are posting an awful lot of questions and request in that thread, as well as in this one. Please understand that engineers can’t resolve issues instantaneously, give the manufacturers a chance to process requests and iron out firmware bugs. Flooding the threads with multiple posts and, demanding hurry the hell up answers from busy manufacturers, whom are being nice enough to be in these forums, is not going to get what you want resolved any sooner. be patient.

I have successfully installed the v1.74 firmware and, after the required factory resets, I can confirm that the volume adjustments work as intended now with my BTA30 Pro, as well as with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, both with aptX and LDAC.

Thank you very much for fixing this issue.

One last question, please @FiiO reply. Are you still developing the BTA30 Pro? Or, you have abandoned this great device? For example, is it possible to add Next/Previous song selection to it, when paired to your UTWS5?

I confirm that this new firmware has, in my case, solved the volume problem when the UTWS5 is connected to the BTA30Pro via LDAC, thank you.

Unfortunately, I have another issue with this pairing - very quickly the LDAC signal drops out on one or both earpieces, with just crackling and noise audible. If I switch to a different codec on the BTA30Pro the audio is restored without problem. If I then switch back to LDAC the audio is OK for a short time until it again drops out. In summary, LDAC between the UTWS5 and the BTA30Pro is not currently a viable option. I hope that you can identify and fix this problem. Thank you in anticipation.

However, the volume of transparency mode is still too small compared to the 1.5 version.
