No, it's an optional accessory in the future as mentioned on the product page:

I've been testing the R7 all week and keep finding new features and applications for it. It's ridiculously versatile and, assuming the taller form factor is not a detriment, it can be a central A/V hub for your desk or living room, an Android TV setup, and much more. I'll aim to have my review written up by next week. The sound output itself is clean as expected from an ESS DAC and a THX linear amp, possibly lean on the higher end but it's fine for the market this is appealing to. FiiO also teased an R9 that might do something else in the future audio wise.

Not without a MUTE button on the remote control it won't. That's a non-starter.

Yes to all three. I just finished taking all the screenshots/videos to showcase the FiiO android skin on the R7 as well as the FiiO Music app itself, it's going to be a looooooong review with lots of GIFs and photos. Hopefully will be done this week itself and I'll share the early preview here when ready.

Excellent review and many thanks for posting asap. So tempted to buy now but have to wait for UK dealer to supply me with shipping and price info. Also intrigued by the R9 but this really covers all bases for me. One box to replace three in my system!
