Yes but AAC is so worse than wired or ldac….
Certainly worse than wired, but according to these tests AAC implementation on iPhone has an equivalent performance to LDAC 990. On Android and even MacOS, the AAC performance is much worse.
I personally find AAC (from iPhone) sounding alright, cannot really pinpoint anything wrong or missing. However, when switching from BT to wired, the sound seems to get bigger, more detailed, but at the same time more pleasant, so tend to use wired more often.

I will mainly use it wired, maybe in bluetooth mode with the fx15 if they are really that detailed the loss is not too exaggerated, but of course, we have the two options, maximum quality or comfort of use, it is not really a problem.

naah, they say that only THD+N scored better, but it still only has about 1/4 the kbps of LDAC. Please take into account, that this guy is a first grade apple fanboy too. You can test and trust your own ears with that, which i coincidentally did yesterday (because of a crappy Fiio BTR15 gadget) and you loose specially in the imaging departement.

Ok but why don t recognize playstation 5 in uac 1 mode when mqa is off...i don t use mqa never but when i play playstation 5 everytime in need to put mqa on because when off don t work with ps5
Thank you for your feedback

I think Q15 now have a bug in UAC1.0 mode.

When it is in 1.0 mode, turn MQA to OFF, Q15 has entered PEQ mode, so PS5 can't be used, turn MQA on and it will work fine,

We will change this logic in later firmware :beerchug:

It's a shame it doesn't include a Lightning cable.
Dear friend,

Since the latest iPhone device has started using USB C port now, so the lightning cable will not be inclued in our new products in order to avoid wasting. Besides, according to our experience, the market of old iOS devices is small. If you need to use with the ios devices with lightning port, you could order the lightning to C adapter for help.

Best regards

Yes the Q15 tame a little the treble that could have been piercing with something more neutral so yes good combination and FX15 benefit of the reserve of power of the Q15
On what gain setting are you using the Q15 with the FX15? I received both yesterday and haven't been able to test them much yet. What I have noticed is that when using it connected to an iPhone it exaggerates the sub-bass of the FX15 a lot, however when connected to an Android smartphone it sounds much more neutral. I haven't tested Bluetooth yet to compare.

Greetings.

Hi, I use everytime the most powerful gain available as the noise floor is so low that it’s dead silent and it’s gives whatever headphone or iem you use the most dynamism possible even on low volume

Hi Fiio i wonder after updating to the latest firmware sometimes the volume is changing? i mean i was listening on 50 suddenly the 50 sound quieter with the same song so i need to crank it to 60 but suddenly the volume is back and i was shocked.

Did you change between USB and BT when listening to the same song? There is a glitch that reactivates PEQ and thus applies a negative pre-amp value making the sound quieter.
