Don't really understand how plugging in a device to recharge it is an inconvenience. My 4 yr. old has a tablet and when she sees the battery icon is low she plugs it in on her own.

If you enjoy charging things often, that is your choice. Many others though don't want to charge as often, and want more flexibility as far as when to charge the player.

My 2yo jamming Music Together on HE400S :L3000:
my phone is charged daily. As is my tablet, music player, etc. simple plug in at bedtime. I grew up when Walkmans just came out with batteries. That probably would have terrified you

not sure, but maybe we will finally implement a fast charging and type-C USB in our DAP when there are only one standard for the quick charging.

I hope that would be in addition to having a standard micro USB connector.

Maybe it could have four micro USB ports, one for each side. Since, you know, it is a lot of work to remember which side of the DAP has the USB port.

I quite often go to backpacking trips of up to seven days long, no electricity. I need a lightweight device with a reasonable sound and as much battery life as possible. The M3 can't arrive soon enough.

I have a feeling that if Fiio releases a version of the M3 with FM radio, micro card slot, and 40+ hours of battery life, it would probably be a great seller if priced at $80. Perhaps then some will be asking for an 80+ hour battery life version with FM and a micro card slot for $100.
