[FiiO M3 Pro] Fullscreen High-Fidelity MP3 Portable Hi-Res Lossless Music Player
Dec 22, 2020 at 9:59 PM Post #181 of 227
Fiio players really are so close to being perfect for their price points for a lot of reasons, like their UI being fairly easy to deal with, but then the lag in that same UI makes any ease of use completely nulled.
Edit - ALSO the amount of reboots this player does on its own is astonishing. I thought maybe it was just shuffling a very large song library but it'll do it for albums and smaller playlists too.
Edit 2 - pulling the top bar down for "quick" buttons to change songs / brightness tends to make the player reboot as well, especially while playing. Should I keep adding edits to this post if I need to?

my in-depth written review about the M3 PRO is live!! If you need a nice DAP, if you need a good amount of detail, and if you want a calculator app on your DAP, this one should be the one for you :)

I have the Fiio M3K.It's this M3Pro much better than M3K?The difference in price it's around 20 euros, so it's not nothing.Worth it?I do like the M3K, clean, vibrant sound and the battery is outstanding.

M3Pro sounds better than M3K, especially on the treble. M3Pro sounds more powerful than M3K. M3Pro controls are more convenient than M3K. But the autonomy of the M3Pro is less than that of the M3K. I had both of these models.
Thank you for your answer. How much the battery resists? And also, is it a big difference in the bass region too?

I've never owned a dap and want to finally move away from listening music from my iphone (using Dunu 2000j and Fidelio X2).
This seems like a good beginner dap, but I really hate that there is no custom eq support and that it's not possible to play all tracks from the same band.
Based on the last few updates, it seems that these two things will never be fixed.

This dap does not have scrobble support, right?
Do we know anything about Fiio's plans? Will they release some new players soon?
I would gladly pay twice the amount for Fiio dap with BT and better software.

You can have mine Doesn't cost you anything. a gift . I bought it about 4 months ago and found that it just doesn't have an equalizer that you can adjust yourself.

I kinda have not so much problems with this DAP. Only 2 in fact.
1. It really has bright presentation, but unlike Ziku X10 Plus bass is OK here.
2. Touch UI is little bit harder to use than some DAPs with buttons only.
But I like to use it as transport, it works great with Zishan U1 4493. So I don't see alternative for my use in this price tag now, when AP60 II is discontinued. If it could be rockboxed, all above problems will be solved, I think...
Sorry for my English...

Could this make the M3Pro do bluetooth aptx and aptx LL, tx only, for two bluetooth headphones, one at a time?
I should post this in the tws thread where they can use the M3Pro to do comparison tests.
But I don't know if this will work.
And I don't know too many tws with aptx LL.
We could not promise the compatibility without testing as well. But if this adapter could accept digital signal via USB output port, it seems that it could work with the M3Pro.

Best regards
