Hey @FiiO, Where is the fastest way to report an issue?

A custom equalizer is good. But let's talk again about the basic functions of the player. Today I am copying all the albums of Dimmu Borgir (16 albums in 16 folders), The Offsprings (10 albums and folders) and all Mozart works (197 folders with fewer "Album" tags).
So how do I listen to all of Mozart's symphonies in random order from 197 different folders without creating playlists or editing tags?
And the next problem. I store music in ogg and the player has huge problems reading ogg vorbis tags.
All songs of The Offspring and many songs from Dimmu Borgir and Mozart are marked as "Unknown artist (or album)".
And the old X1 sees all the tags correctly.

About digital transport function - didn't I mentioned it doesn't work with Xduoo XD-01? I have many cables and adapters, but neither work. But if you have Fiio DAC, all should be good. Zishan U1 is OK too. Of course, Tempotec V1 is much more capable as a transport, some cheap smartphone will be good too.
Someone asked about that earlier, so just my humble experience here.

Thank you for the info! Did you try it with an external FiiO DAC/Amp? Also, what in your opinion makes TempoTec V1 more capable as a transport? Is it the additional SD card slot and a coaxial output or there's something else on top of that, maybe? I was considering it but I'm afraid that it's screen will prove to be just too tiny for comfortable use and I've also read quite a few accounts on the QC issues with screens and failure of both digital and analog (with V1A) outputs (TempoTec in general isn't famous for the good QC at all, it seems), so I'm not very enthusiastic about that option.

By the way, did anyone notice any improvements in regards to the UI speed and responsiveness after the latest FW updates, by any chance? Maybe some degree of optimization is possible on the software side after all.

TempoTec V1 more capable as a transport
I mean that it has more capable USB audio function, works with all DACs I have. About QC issues I read before buying, but wasn't really scared, because I intended to use it in semi stationary way, simply lying around, not carrying. Screen is easy to use, amazingly. Fiio less responsive indeed.
And of course 2 SD card slots, coaxial out, as you said.
But Fiio is a great little player nonetheless, I think. I love it for portability and sound.

Hi, I do have some problems with the M3 Pro when updateing my media library.
I have close to 15000 tracks on the SD card but the DAP only updates to exactly 11801 tracks - nothing more.
So I suppose there is one file which causes the update process to stop.
Is there any why how I can debugg this?

Dear friend,

Can you find which files are not scanned? Are the files formats supported by the M3Pro?

Not sure whether this methods could help:

(1) remove the cards and do a library update (clears the database)
(2) move half of the songs out of the card (e.g. half of the folders), insert the card and try the library update again.
(3) if the update succeeds:
a. add half of the folders you moved out back into the card (for a total of 3/4 of the original total) and try again
if the update in (2) fails:
b. move out half of the remaining folders (for a total of 1/4 of the original total) and try again
if the update in (b) succeeds:
i. add half of the folders you moved out in (b) back into the card and try again
...
Basically the idea is to use a binary tree elimination to find song(s) or file(s) that are causing issues with the library scan.

Best regards

Hi, I tried your suggestion but used a different SD card. I copied the files in groups of letters (first all folders with A, than B, and so on). Surprisingly all the files were sucessfully scanned. So at the moment it seemed that the incomplete scan is related to the SD card I used.
