I see you corrected the leather case fastening for the M15s. With the current design, the M17 is prone to slip out of the case, needing quick reflexes to stop it falling on the floor. I am sure most M17 owners would buy a revised Velcro fastened M17 leather case. Please consider.

Yup I would most definitely buy a Velcro fastened m17 case. I’m ultra careful using it but it still scares me that I will drop it

This always become my concern everytime, holding a heavy expensive thing with its weight always pushing down to open the case.

I have custom case with opening on top part, but it doesn't have the metal grill for the heat on the back.

A small length of self adhesive plastic insulation tape holds flap shut.

Apparently, when it DC mode, only the amps are powered by it, the rest of the machine runs on the battery. I always assumed that the entire unit was powered by DC bypassing the battery

@FiiO do you confirm this ? And if yes is it the same for the Q7 ?

So, I have my M17 with me now and I can happily report that after several power off/power on cycles, the repair appears to have been successful. Time wil tell how long it will last.

Maybe somebody can help me out with this. When i conect the M17 with usb to another dac usb the ifi pro audio IDSD the m17 stops using the power suply en is going to use its battery. Is this normal or do i have some settings wrong in the m17?
I like to use the m17 with the ifi but not when its using the battery.

Make sure you use the USB-C port close to the SPDIF output ("USB host"), not the one close to the DC plug (USB 3.0). Using it confuses the M17 -at least in my case- and battery can't be charged. I know that's not the issue you're having but it might be related. Currently using the M17 connected to Topping D90 Dac, it works fine for me.

Is it possible to install netflix and disney plus app on M17? the disney plus app is working but no video at all just blank black screen. I know the M17 is a music station on first place but I just imagine if I can see the movie with superb sound.

I would love the iPhone decoding in USB DAC mode that the M15S and the M11S received.

And I really miss some sort of system wide EQ/PEQ on the M17: that would make it absolutely perfect! I use it a lot on my BTR7, and really miss being able to apply EQ to any app on my M17! I know the Q7 has received it recently via the XMOS update.
