Does the stock Fiio player recognize the track number field in the id3 tag so the album plays in the right order? It's super bothersome I *can't figure this out, lol. Here's what the data looks like:

Dear friend,

Yes, and you could test via the FiiO Music app in your Android mobile phone first if you don't have the player in your hand currently.

Best regards

Hi! I do have the player, it's what I use on my M17. The tunes in the photo are what I transferred onto my M17 but I can't find a way to play them in that order.

Dear friend,

After scanning the music in the FiiO Music app, you could go to local music-album-The Chronie.

The music files in this album will be sorted according to the track number.

Best regards

I got my M17 when it first came out and it has been working great. However, today for the first time it won't provide the option for Enhanced Over Ear Mode once the charger is plugged in. I tested the charger and it is plugged in properly and can charge the device but no matter what I try can't seem to access Enhanced Over Ear Mode anymore.

Have anyone else run into this issue and was able to fix it? @FiiO Any suggestions?

Thank you! All is working well now. Completely forgot about that crucial little detail. Somehow it got inadvertently switched off. Yes, I'm an idiot. :relaxed:

Hi
I'm a bit of a novice with these devices however, I received this device today and, after setting up, I proceeded to plug in my Hifiman Sundaras into the 4.4mm balanced port and play a 24bit/96 track.
It played for a couple of seconds then stopped saying 'output exception please try reseating the headset.'
I plugged in, unplugged etc. but continued having the same outcome.
The phones did, and still do work fine in my m11 plus.
I also replicated the experience with some other balanced earphones that I own.
All of the other ports seem to be working as they should.
Can anybody assist me with any possible 'user error' or is it just that I have got a faulty unit?
Thanks in advance. 😞

Dear friend,
1. Please check whether the issue happens in Balanced output instead of other output?
2. Please check whether the issue not happens when the volume is smaller?
If either case above happens, please check the definition of your headphone. The definition of the 4.4mm port in M17:

And it is not recommended to use the 3.5mm single ended to 4.4mm balanced adapter for connecting the headphone to the 4.4mm port for M17.
3. If the issue keep happens and could not be solved by factory restore, it may be a hardware issue with the M17.

Best regards
