@newworld666 check only "soc" temperature when operating it should reach much higher levels than indicators in other parts. Basically I think it is ok when soc operating temperature is ~70c. In theory it can reach up to 100-110c, because processor is the most heat emmiting part in player. So i think there is nothing wrong with high "soc" temp. The most dangerous situation would be high temp in battery, but in my case battery temp is always ~45c in average.

Ok
This soc temp is fixed at 80°C without or with fan active (level 1) when one playing some Qobuz music for more than one hour now... while battery is at 44.0°C and becoming 41°C after a while with fan set to 1 (but it shouldn't be used at all in the enhanced audio mode)
There's also the silicon lottery factor, and there will often be small deviations in the temperature, as perfect uniformity is hard to achieve during chip manufacturing. That said, the difference should not be more than a few degrees.
I had so far not a single time the fan switched on....also now in summer not....und not a single time really warm ...i do not stream my music ...i play my music only
from my memory card

I also started measuring the temperature of my M17. This measurement was taken after an hour and a half of listening to Qobuz with my Focal MG headphones, the Fiio M17 was in enhanced mode, on its base and the fan on at speed two. I remember that I changed the original fan with a quieter one.
in March I bought from EBay this 12V 35W supply specially developed for M17. The front says LHY Audio but I think it is the same as FIiO is offering now
