Just ask, if anyone wants to try DX300+AMP12, I have it to trade for M17, and I will add cash. I am really interested in M17's desktop-grade gain.
我住在新加坡,我想为我的M17买PL50。新加坡使用230V,这是否意味着我应该选择欧盟版本?我还需要买一个英国插头是吗?
I live in Singapore and I'd like to get the PL50 for my M17. Singapore uses 230V, does this mean I should select the EU version? I'll also need to get a UK plug yes?

I have been using and loving the M17 since last december, and it is sooo much better than the M11 plus ltd. it replaces. Got a nice pelicase for it which fits like a glove and it goes with me everywhere. A true swiss pocketnife of an audio device to me!
However, I have a question for @FiiO regarding SW: it runs Android 10, but will you ever upgrade it to a newer version of Android? I remember with the Exynos based players I had (M11, M11 Pro) this was impossible. I hope the SD660 platform will enable you to upgrade OS versions. The reason I'm asking is that it will greatly expand the lifetime of this rather expensive device.

Also one more question. Do I have to have the fan turned on on the stand if I'm in DC mode? I'm not using the "Enhanced Mode" just using my IEMS. Also I use this at my desk like 90% of the time.
Would it be okay to leave it perpetually plugged in to DC power like all the time? I've limit my battery to 85% charge and also disabled charging when connected to DC power.
I ended up getting the iFi iPower Elite for use with my M17, do I need to switch that sucka off when not in use or can I just leave it turned on at all times?

Dear friend,@FiiO My SOC runs at 100ºC with Enhanced mode enabled and driving 300Ω HD820 Sennheiser. Everything else has basically about the same numbers as @Ben86 give or take a degree or two. Fan speed at maximum, running Apple Music app only and volume set at 60, Album is the best of The Police DC quality. Run time about an hour. Bluetooth switched off, WiFi connected at 5GHz band. Is this within safe operating temperature, and if so, at what temperature does the high temp pop up comes?
these are the iddling temps after being switched off for 10 minutes with the fan at full speed.

I think that's a compromise makers had to make with devices like M17 in order provide more power. I never got 10 hours out of my M11 Pro driving headphones like HD6XX and LCD2C even on line out. But I get 20 - 30 hours when using USB transport or Bluetooth.Really FIIO made a fantastic job on their last devices ... those are probably the most versatile on the market with often a very high sound quality .... Even android version from V10 is really convenient for many features like PowerEQ/Wavelet and limiting Battery charging to save battery life..
But..........................It would be really nice from FIIO to work on the playing time on a single battery charge..
The M17 and the BTR7 are really anorexic real playing time devices.
I just bought the BTR7, but, it's a disappointment in my case, as it is almost unusable with less than 6 hours real playing time, while another BT receiver, like iFi Go Blu, with same output power and balanced 4.4mm plug can reach 13 hours in same conditions (with a rather low level sound pressure).
There is absolutely no way to use the M17 (with limiting many parameters to just SD card reading) as an old Sony NW-WM1A for 24 hours or more (flac 24/96 files), I could never go over 8 hours playing time till now with the M17 (if not less than 6 hours in headphone mode).
I agree that devices like BTR7 should provide playback time of at least 10 hours because they are targeted more for portable use.
Isn't it supposed have more power than Go Blu or Q5K?And it's a really huge and bulky portable device ... compared to the IFi Go Blu or Quedlix 5K (all with same balanced output power level).
I was hoping to get a totally blank/hiss free BTR7 (iFi go blu is not with sensitive IEM like IE900) with a 8 to10 hours playing time.
