Lads, I can not express how much my ears were enjoying M17 & Cascade combination yesterday. I was going through Pantera, Machine Head albums and man how was bass guitar powerful, drums had such a strong kicks, everything in perfect layers, every single detail unveiled, vocals were unbelievable, like M17 completely opened up and said this is what I can do This DAP is such a powerhouse and definitely end game, I think I might sell DX312 when I get it back from service, as it was sent to factory to get fixed power/volume knob issue.. Fiio nailed it with this one.

Anyone had a chance to compare M17 to the new dx320 in terms of sound?
Hopefully soon...Anyone had a chance to compare M17 to the new dx320 in terms of sound?
Cant wait..
Me too!Cant wait..
I ask because if the energy up from midrange to low treble on the m17. Some pairings I have had lean on the bright side. I was thinking something with a warmer signature might pair extremely well.
I recommend also a campfire iem: I have got the solaris 2020 special edition and love the punchiness and musicality -sublimeAnyone recommend a high end set of IEMs that pair well with m17?
Curious to hear others recommendations.

Yes, the amp module in the player is bypassed when using lineout.

I think 2.4Which band are you using 5 or 2.4 ghz? There is no reason to use 5 unless you are downloading a large amount of files at once. 2.4 ghz has much better range and should give at least 100 mbps consistently. That's how I use my M17 and have no problems with wifi.

If your phone on the same 2.4 shows stable connection and your M17 does not from the same location, there is something wrong with your M17 wifi. I still pick up the 2.4 wifi signal on my M17 from 50 meters outside my home. At the same distance I don't even see my 5 Ghz wifi.I think 2.4
If your 5 and 2.4 gHz bands share the same SSID, you don't know which band your device is using and how your device is programmed to choose. I you separate your 5 and 2.4 ghz bands into 2 different SSID names, then you know for 100% which band you are using.
