@FiiO I unboxed my unit tonight and was a little bit disappointed by your QC. The bottom of the leather case which should not have glue applied, has a spot with glue on it. The back of my unit has what looks like a bubble at the edge.

The spot on the bottom of the case looks glossy and apparent, and the bubble at the edge of the back panel is not small. I am not sure how the QC check missed these.

I need some help with the google system on M17, as my last android phone was from around 10 years ago.

When I tried to access the Google App Store, I was asked to log into my google account. If I log into google account, it automatically downloaded my contacts and files.

Is there anyway to log into the google account simply for the access to App Store, without Google automatically downloading anything for my google account?

Also, is there anyway to set the SD card as the default storage for downloaded apps and files? The articles I found all indicated I need to go to device settings->storage->storage settings, but M17 does not have storage settings.

Yes, create an empty dummy Google account. This is what I do on my Android based DAPs to avoid being reminded of ex-girlfriends when I'm listening to the collected works of Wagner.

If anybody is considering over-the-ear headphones for the M17, I recommend Hifiman HE1000SE.

The HE1000SE treble clarity, detail, and neutral tonality are near desktop high-end with the M17. The M17 can’t drive Susvaras dynamically so the HE1000SE is one notch down and fully driven on DC. I use the IFI iPower Elite PSU upgrade.

Just ordered one of those M17-sized hard cases from Bax.
