Ok, so it's either a question of connector (can you try another HP with 4.4mm ?), or an issue with your M17.

Possible. I also use normally a battery pack (instead of a power supply, which should have the cleanest power delivery) and also "feel" that it sounds better but I always have my doubts with psycho acoustics, and don't even trust my own ears 100%, as hearing continously adapts and changes. But I would be interested to have the information about that very specific value.

I didn't really measure with M17 but with RME ADI-2 I was able to get more than 6 hours driving a DCA Stealth with a 3S3P pack. The one in the photo is a 4S2P (4 serial, 2 parallel, 14,4V) version, but there are other possibilities like 3S4P (11.2V), 4S3P, with 21700 cells instead of 18650 cells etc. That would also increase the capacity.

But as said, I didn't really measure on M17. I will do it this week.

Never have I ever hear the sound so natural, extended bottom and top without the end, with a small drop of an accent to the mids.
Bass goes extremely deep, depth of a stage is enormous, mids are engaging, tasty and high is linear and extended more then M15, details are on another level and at a same time very natural without hint of sibilance.

LCD2 is a amazing headphone, and M17 is detail monster, unfortunately M15 is level even 2 below this one, and yes, power, **** it drives Audeze like nothing, effortlessly.
So happy with a purchase.

Few more on Amazon UK, go for it, this is true end game. All of that out of 15minutes listening, when I saw package delivered I have left work....and came back after an hour
No burn in yet, what will happen after 200h

I went for this Samsung unit

The 45W charger is necessary as standard 25W units do not fully charge this battery pack. (Lights indicate full cahrge but that’s not the case as it runs flat very fast)
Also, maximum power needed for Enhanced Headphone mode can only be achieved with the USB-A port.
