Price is expected to be between 10k to 15k rmb.
This is the range I've heard as well, $1500 to $2500, with the release date estimated as October 26 in China with shipments to the US reaching here in early November.
Probably around $/€2300...
$2650 - I hope it's not that high, I am hoping for $1500-$1900, keeping the price under $2k. :)

This is actually the price we pay here in the EU. If it is $2300 in the US, it will be €2300 or more in the EU. So, expected US price is I think around / below $2300 / CNY 15000.

So it seems we will more surely get it around €2500 vat included in most of Europe.
It's not that bad.. if power is really there (even with some external power source) and if we can, in some few months, use Neutron and UAPP in Hires mode...

Would love to hear comparison between this and the AK2000T
Since both look around the same price.

But, as far as I can see with my Kann Alpha, AK has totally obsolete hardware (wifi) & android system (android without Play Store with UAPP, Neutron, Bubbleupnp, etc), no real system PEQ, no real steaming features to access without issues personal Upnp servers (it's very limited functions and really erratic) ... no sufficient output power to properly move recent Headphones like DCA Stealth, HEDDphone one ....
A&K seems actually really overrated and obsolete on daps market.

M17 and SP2000T, these are built for different purposes.

M17 is more like a "desktop replacement" player, it has a large amount of output power and a large amount of output ports, coaxial in AND out, and even a switch to switch between AC and battery power, and a fan designed to use on a desktop.

SP2000T on the other hand is more like your average portable player, with a tube inside. It has a way better shape to fit in your hand, and is designed so you can use it with one hand usage in mind. You probably don't want to use M17 one handed most of the time unless you want to risk dropping it.

M17 is more suited towards transporting between workplace and home, and SP2000T is more suited towards everyday use.

I see there is a large cutout on the ledge the M17 sits on when getting cooled on the stand and cutouts above and below the ledge to allow routing cables. I really have enjoyed the built in hinged USB-C connector at the bottom of the DK-1 stand for the M15:

And, the split Power Input + Data In/Out USB-C connections:

I'm kinda surprised FiiO didn't build a dedicated M17 Stand with "split" Power and Data connections fitted to the M17 as with the M15's DK1 stand.

I do appreciate the M17 Fan Stand cable routing built into the stand and the M17's design with power connections on the bottom and headphone connections on the top - like the M15, but the alignment of the M17 power connector isn't the same as the M15, so I cannot use the DK1 stand with the M17.
