What's the purpose of the log in section in settings on the M17 Fiio app ?

Gotta keep the 99s since I'm Romanian , but my soul is with Sony. Got both their flagships, cans and IEMs. Simply spectacular with M17, both of them.

Does anyone still have the popping or clicking noise issue during playback? I want to pull the trigger on one but this issue might potentially ruin my experience of the M17…

I still get them occasionally. They only happen for me at the start of tracks, normally at the start of a session, or after heavy skipping/track switching, and it is only ever one. So for example, I may get a pop or pause at the start of an album, but then the rest of the album is perfect.

It's a very minor issue for me and TBH, I wouldn't care if it was never fixed.

Foam base came from this

You can buy just the foam by itself and the piece of foam inside of the lid is silicone glued on to the rubber matting which comes with the peli case holds in place the charging cable so when folded protects the screen is just a 5mm piece of standard foam cut down, all fits snugly ( not tight ) and there's no movement, overkill I guess but I did drop a peli 1040 recently and it broke at the hinge and opened, luckily it was empty. But this case is super strong with vulcanised rubber edges.

same here. i had 10+ daps so far and ALL had this "issue"... so for me it feels just normal.

No foam available for the Ruc series only the standard peli cases, but I'm sure you can get one from the 10 series to fit ok.

I sincerely doubt that as the width is a few mm short of naked DAP. If the leather case is on no way it fits...

Yes it does, snuggly with the case on. Perfect without the case. I have it so I know.

Getting this softer case from Aliexpress today that fits the M17 and one or two pairs of IEMs. Not as protective as a Peli case of course but good enough to live in my work backpack.
