I would say that the M17 is much more like the "Steam Deck" - portable gaming console, which has enough power and futures to play games smoothly with a lot of fun, but with top notch PC (desktop device) you still going to get better resolution and more immersive experience. Overall M17 is really powerfull and joyful device for its portable form factor and futures.

Yes, with HD650 over ear mode sounds really good! Even without balanced cable.

Changes and improvements about new Android APP are as follows :
1. Added a new theme: Technology (can be enabled in Settings -> Theme -> Custom background);
2. Upgraded the BT device control center to a brand new one(now called FiiO Control);
3. Added sorting by year;
4. Added support for DLNA-Emby service in Media Server(Emby/UPNP/SMB protocols are now supported);
5. Added Now Playing list in the Media Server playback menu;
6. Added new options: Max Volume Lock and Allow background Activity (can be set in Settings -> USB output);
7. Fixed the issue where the volume control would not work for some tracks in D2P output mode;
8. Fixed the issue where the DSD tracks might not be played properly (only white noise can be heard) while the Exclusive USB audio access mode is turned off;

How to update the FiiO Music app in players:
Set the device to storage mode and connect to computer, drag the downloaded FiiO Music (.apk) to the device. Then disconnect the connection and enter ES file explorer/file manager, find the FiiO Music app in internal storage/sd card and click install.

Still not seeing 3.0.9 from the Google Play Store.

Would it be possible to to update via the store instead of installing the apk (for my M17, M11+Ltd, and android phone)?

Case is not tight so air can go between and cool DAP better. But there will be some other 3rd party cases to purchase I am sure.

Yeah I agree with bottom flap, should have been somehow better secured, always have feeling it might fall out of a case when carrying M17 around..

Not had any issues myself, but would like to see a Van Nuys or Dignis case for the M17.
