Ok, I got Roon Ready to work, now working on getting Wavelet to work. It was my understanding that it should be somewhat automatic, but whatever music app I try, Wavelet just says No new music sessions have been started yet. Any ideas?

Wavelet should work fine with Spotify. Other music apps, like Tidal, Qobuz and Amazon Music need the extra permissions:

I have an issue feeding my Violectric v380 with my flacs via the usb-c. The volume is very low. At a point I start to hear noise background if I want to hear the music.
If I plug the Cayin N7 instead I bring back a normal volume of music.
I have tried various settings but I dont see what is going on…

Are you using the FiiO Music app? If yes, please try to turn on/off the usb output option to see whether it helps?
If the issue remains, please send the log files to support@fiio.com so we could upload to the engineer for check.
Extract a LOG file
For special software issues, please extract a LOG file under the root directory, unzip and copy it to the homepage. And then send it to us for analysis.
Please go to " Settings ->About device" , and continually tap “Model number", until the prompt "Have save output log to built-in storage" appears.
Then please wait for about 20 seconds, and go to player's internal storage, then send the folder "fiio_log " to us and inform us the time of the problem for further analysis.

When the M15s is connected to the amp, it asks if I want to connect with it. If you say yes, troubles start. So you have to select cancel. It is totally unlogical but it is how it works.

Which app are you using? And which USB DAC are you using? Does it support Exclusive USB Audio Access Mode? You may try to restart both devices and reconnect for check?

It is plugged in a Violectric V380 mkII. The Fiio recognizes the device when I plug the usb-c (m15s) - usb-b (Vio) cable. It asks me if I want Fiio Music to connect with the Vio. There you have to say cancel to have it working properly. If you say yes, the sound is nearly muted and full of crackling.
Btw, I never figured out how to use YouTube properly. Each time I launch a video, the video freezes during like 1 or 2 sec just after, and then the image and the sound are not synchronized anymore. I have tried anything I could (Internet website and app), even with daylimotion. Always the same issue and unusable.

I use the regular YouTube app I have downloaded on the store 
(I tried on the website too). Connected to my phone (good wifi connection)
Output here is to an external DAC but is the same if I use a headphone.

Another bug a bit boring : if you want to copy a song file (like a flac) when connected to a Mac for instance, you can copy one time. But if you want to copy the same file a second time in an other folder, it crashes all the time. You have to disconnect the m15, reconnect, and redo.
It is so boring. Don’t know how to fix that…

I'm also having problems with the USB output on my M15 (same on the M17).
When paired with my mobile DAC (ifi micro idsd BL) everything works with the fiio app and the output volume is fixed and I control the volume on the DAC. When using a streaming app (Qobuz, Radio paradise) I have to set the volume to 120 in the M15s.
When pairing with my stationary DAC (dCS Bartoc) M15s and M17 recognize the dCs Bartok and ask to connect. However, the music is only played very, very quietly, the DAC displays incorrect sampling rates and freezes. The Dac has to be disconnected from the power supply, then it will work again with my other sources. Something is wrong with the USB out on M15s and M17.

My Vio turned crazy too. It showed optical, coaxial and usb connection at the same time at a moment

Right now, to have it working properly I have to also connect my Violectric to my pioneer N70-AE via a coaxial cable. If I don’t do this, trebles are missing from the M15s.
With any other input (MacBook, Pioneer) all is working good. Something is wrong and crazy with the m15s output.
