That's really disappointing. Can someone confirm this? Is there no way to play DSD512 local files on the M15?

Also, can I verify that "All to DSD" only works with local files and is defeated in streaming apps like Tidal/Roon? Does "All to DSD" operate in both Android and Pure Music modes?

AK4499 does 128x oversampling rather than 256x unlike AK4497 or ESS chips. So if there is a bypass happening, I think it is already with DSD256.

I just got the M15 and started to put it through its paces. I loaded up an SD card with DSD512 files in Pure Music mode. It scanned and indexed the files but when I try to play, it says format not supported. These files play fine on other players. Is there something I'm missing?

As an alternative, I'm trying to download UAPP or Neutron. I can't find them in APK Pure. Cook APK seems to have them but the UI is in Chinese. Is there a way to switch the language to English?

Do I have to buy the apps all over again since there is no google play? Does UAPP or Neutron run in M15 in terms of licensing without google play? I

DSD512 and 32bit/768kHz is only in "USB DAC" mode
That is why those codecs are not listed in the "File format support" in the page https://www.fiio.com/m15_parameters

Hi FiiO, thanks for the reply. I have emailed support, this is what I have said:

I have gone through the options and they don’t fix the issue. I should be able to order the playlist folder alphabeticaly, but I don’t want the actual playlist itself to change order. This is what happens currently. So i change the to sort order by either file name or first letter, which by the way appear to be the same. But then the actual playlist itself is now also in alphabetical order, not in the order I created it. So the filter should only apply at folder level. It should not apply to the actual playlist itself!

I’m not really sure I’d consider the N6ii or DX220 mid tier daps (no experience with the Lotoo), they’re priced as so when compared to something like the SP2000, but I found both of those equally as enjoyable as the SP2000.
