Honestly the DAC is important but the implementation is even more important.
And the amp section... I am pretty excited that FiiO chose to use thin film resistors and tantalum capacitors (like Sony does in its DAPs and some amp card from iBasso), more so than the AK4499 in fact :p

No it doesn't exist yet. Q5s can be controlled from phone but audio quality gets worse due to lossy bluetooth codecs. With my solution audio won't be transmissed via bluetooth, it will be played from the device's storage.
Because usually the brain that process the music playback function is included in the SOC and as they can output to a display it kinda is a waste not to include at least a display.

Many non android players with hibylink/fiio link can do most of what you said. Just tuck the DAP in your pocket and play away.

Going further probably you can wait for the now still concept Shanling M30, a module based player which suppossedly can still play music without the DAP module plugged in.
I suppose they pan to make use of the Hiby Link feature they've long used to control it if its possible.

How will the m15Pro differ from the m15?
The difference is one now exists and the other doesn’t and isn’t planned to in the near future

So does the release version have the Google play store if someone uses an old OS version?
