Imo this is simply a very well done marriage of THX and the AKM chip. THX can be extremely good or rather disappointing. In this case, it was implemented in a way which allows the 4497EQ to shine without the 'limpness' and harshness of some of the less well done THX amps.

This is what I thought when upgrading from M11 Pro to M11 Plus. Same chips in both but this just feels and sounds noticeably better.

Looks like there is a new Firmware update 1.0.4 on the Fiio website, but there isn't a link to download it yet. It's also not available on the M11 Plus LTD system update page.
I'm also curious if anyone is having issues with the M11 Plus LTD while using Amazon Music HD only showing device capability as 24-bit/48 KHz ?
If someone from Fiio reads this please let us know if this Amazon Music HD issue is being addressed.

I have the 104 update it'll say 192, even if the file is 24/48 it's weird.

That's the way Amazon Music works. The status bar will always match the "device capability". Presumably, it is upsampling everything to 24/192 as well. This has been discussed in other threads.

Auto-rotate now works.
Although I still don't understand why it's called auto-rotate, as it simply rotates the screen upside down.

Direct download to app didn't work form. Tried twice but got an "invalid file" error in the middle of download. I had to manually download the file and copy to update to 1.04. Mac users remember to disable auto open in Safari because you have to copy the zip file as named for the update to work Also remember to install Android Transfer utility to copy the file.

Was the
Was the Amazon Music HD device capability issue addressed in this firmware update? I also have the Fiio M11 and it displays the device capability in Amazon Music HD as 24bit/192KHz. Hoping that this issue was fixed on the M11 Plus LTD, before the firmware update device capability displays as 24bit/48KHs in Amazon Music HD. Thanks in advance for your response.
