I keep getting Apple Music in lossless with no sound playback. Or when one track is playing the next track is cut off though the numbers is still moving but complete silent. But my Cayin N6II have no issues at all

Go to setting and turn off crossfade see if that works

So if you go into Developer mode there is an option to change change the colour space to sRGB. When you turn it on it automatically turns off when you exit settings. Anybody try the developer mode and get this working to see if it fixes the screen colour issue?

Developer mode is activated when you press multiple times on the Android version square in the settings about page.

Yes I tried it. It will not activate. It always shuts off the feature when I exit settings. That is why I am asking if anyone else has tried it.

Screen is fine to me. Apple Music works really well. Everything works. I don’t get some of the complaints.

Software is a little bit wonky. But I’m an apple guy. So everything non apple feels weird and backwards to me.

Crossfade not as broken in the beta app, not perfect either, just hasn't made it way to the released Apple app yet,they're improving it in the beta,it seemed to cut the music short that's why I turned it off.

Are you talking about the Apple app or the developer screen colour option I asked the question about? I do not use the Apple Music app.

Any recommendation on the gain question I posted? I mentioned I have to have it on medium gain to match the low gain of the pro.

Regardless of my screen brightness and colour concern the player is really good. It is so quick and responsive and sounds great. I just tried it with my new Focal Celestee's yesterday and I cannot go back to my Audio Technica MSR7Bb's. The 7B's are still great but the Celestee's are on another level.

Any help with my questions would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't care about beauty, I suggest you try a silicone case for M11 plus. It will help to reduce the temperature during use pretty much. Especially in my country, the weather is hot around the year.
I tested with the All to DSD mode. The device is just warmed instead of pretty hot when using the original leather case.
