I have an issue with the "all to DSD" feature. When it is enabled I can hear a noticeable noise/hiss in certain songs. This is only happening with Tidal though not on Fiio music or airplay.
To reproduce: listen to "Patricia Barber - Too Rich for my blood" on tidal. It is very noticeable in the first 20 seconds. Switch on and off all to DSD and the difference is very apparent.
I'm using the balanced output and ier-m9. Is it only me?

You have the DX220 as well. How did the DX220 compare to the M11?

i like more DX220 because it has google play and i can run now new edition of UAPP with DX220 suport so MQA and tidal like a charm.
i like sound bit more also.
M11 is way faster with better battery life but no go for me at the moment as there is no support for google play.
i need play coz i have a lot payed apps and need google suport.

I have the same dilemma but I assume you can sideload apk's onto the M11 ?.....

You can use aurora store or any other APK store.
But no Google play services suport mean for me, no authentication of my paid apps like UAPP.

Can you compare the sound between the two players some more-soundstage,layering,bass, mids, treble and what is the main difference if you compare just sound quality and ability to drive the headphones in your opinion

Hiby for EQing the fa7, fiio for fh5 and true fi for hd660s

Using fiio player for the most part, but the eq is weak, but luckily I like the stock sound. I think the fiio app sounds the most lively.

Mainly using Fiio for everything. It sounds incredible and if I'm not using playlist, I am a folder browsing, full album listening fool.
Hiby sounds good too and all the EQ options are great. One of these days I will get around to using Neutron and see how that goes. Need me some PEQ.
