I can confirm the M11 gets very warm when it's active and playing for long periods. Not crazy hot but still very warm to the touch at the back. Haven't tested battery life on mine but so far I've had to recharge it at least daily after regular use during the day. Put it this way, it'll easily last short commutes and even midrange flights, and is easy enough to top up with a fast-charging portable battery charger, so if you manage it then battery life is a non-issue, as with most modern cellphones.Maybe he has a faulty battery? I mean I don't think the M11 will get that hot he was talking about?
And yeah, M9 battery sucked. I think it was the processor struggling with the system hehe.

The M11 utilizes an SoC with high clock speed, dual DAC chip, and high power headphone amplifier, thus dissipating way more power than consumer DAPs typically performing computation, DAC and amplification all on the SoC. Apart from outputting more power to your headphones, a lot of this power is also dissipated as heat, thus causing the M11 to heat up slightly in operation; but this does not endanger the M11 or the listener in any way.
As for the battery life, you may test refer to our website as well:
Best regards

I'm thinking about getting a new DAP to use at work and this one caught my eye. I'm not terribly picky about sound quality, but I'd like something better for browsing than my current X5II. Some questions for anyone who is able to demo one...
How fast/responsive is the UI? How does scrolling through long lists of artists/albums/songs feel? What options does it have for browsing besides by folder? Does it support syncing playlists onto SD cards/onboard storage, or only creating them on-the-fly?

Hopped on aliexpress and picked up my leather case. Can't wait for my unit to show up. Really excited to have my whole library with me all the time.

Dang... Case suck apparently, the guy on the vid got his for free, apparently, all Chinese version/sales had a free case, the HK and international version does not come with a case. The current value of the case in HK is about 20 bucks.
Oh well, I spent 25 to get one too... probably gonna be disappointed.

The case is not free in China, only some user who bought the M11 very early and share their M11 with other on some social media (like weibo which similar as facebook ) can got the free case, other M11's user also need to pay for the case.

You would do well to read through this thread for impressions that already exist and answer al of your questions. TL;DR - it’s super fast (as fast as a modern smartphone), very responsive, smooth scrolling, multiple browsing options (even more if you download better apps than FiiO Music), multiple playlist options. Can’t really compare it to the X5ii, this is in a different league.I'm thinking about getting a new DAP to use at work and this one caught my eye. Thanks @FiiO that's very useful info. I wasn’t worried about the heat, and glad to know it’s because of the Iron Man core insideDear friend,

I ordered one as well. The potential issue seems to be that the player might slip out of the case. A little double-sided carpet tape will sort that out nicely...
A player this good deserves a nice leather case.

Does anyone have any feedback of using the Tin Audio T2 balanced? I'm debating buying them during the sale on AliExpress but not sure if it's worth it coming from RHA T20
