Yeah it slows down slot 1 because of an issue with one brand of cards Lexar. So because one brand has issues we all suffer slower speeds of slot 1 if we use other cards that aren't an issue.

Hi,we can't exhaust all the brands,but from our test,Lexar and Netac already have this problem,and we are not sure if there are other brands also have this problem.
And we also have tried to slow down slot 1 only when you use those two brands,but we found that the maif_id of Samsung and other brands may the same with Lexar and Netac,it means that we can't tell which brands are normal.
So to ensure absolute safety,we have adopted the current way,and it won't have any impact on your daily use.

Finally got the chance to listen to my Fiio M11 with Shure SE846 and BGVP DM6 and I love the sound it is very detailed and somewhat analytical, it is more closer to X7 Mark II than Fiio X5iii I like the layering of details and treble extension. Bass is there but not thumpy, for certain genre the sound is absolutely gorgeous and very detailed, liquid mids and solid power.

Unfortunately I faced the problem with 4.4mm balanced output so couldn't listen to my Sony Z1R with 3.5mm I think it will be unjustice to Z1R. One of the primary reason I bought M11 was to use both 2.5mm balanced for my IEMs and 4.4mm for big overhead like Z1R and Focal Elex but now my unit is defective and 4.4mm is not properly connected, I loved the sound and dont want to part with M11 but Fiio asking me to send the unit back to China I am not sure who take the cost for return postage and what will happen to VAT and Taxes I paid in Europe? It is an unfortunate situation I tried at my closest hifi shop another cable and followed the instruction of Fiio support to fully insert the plug but the icon on status bar come and goes which mean internally it is incorrectly connected? the 2.5mm works fine and has more power and bass impact then 3.5mm.

I hope Fiio will be able to help if I could return it Fiio Dealer in my country instead of sending to China.

What happened to your 4.4, how did you break it!?

What you’re asking here has far more to do with the headphones/IEMs you’re using than the dap/source. There’s only so much a dap can do for your sound if you have the wrong transducers.

The same was with some other chinese shop in alie earlier. That had about 50 pcs. It just disappeared. Dont know if it is possible that someone is buying for reselling them as they are not available freely in the west. But perhaps some other reason.

Yeah i know that, sold one unit for you and me and if some reseller gave good price, do you think they will not sell they quantity? This is only one possible version but business is business. At least for the moment when is some demand, not after few months

This is all speculation, but the mark up from Fiio to Chinese sellers is very small so for a re-seller to purchase from a Chinese company and not direct can not be worth the hassle surly ... but who knows

Perhaps right but i don't know what is the reason for third alie shop disappearing almost instantly after showing up m11. Don't know how fiio regulates selling of their distributers, perhaps these alie sellers began to sell it too early for everyone also to us from west and it's not oficialy announced there yet.
Well one store has 9 left but price is much higher than usual.
