Hi, we have already verified this issue, from the preliminary analysis, this is caused by a bug and can be solved by firmware update.
Now we are still in further confirm, we will release a update as soon as possible once we solve it.

From what I read from other companies, it's not really a big with the output, it is how the output is presented. Let me see if I can find that article again.

Yes it is. I suspect modern batteries handle the fast charging better, but unless I am mistaken fast charging still has adverse effects on the batteries longevity.

The very link you're talking about clearly states quad-rate, dvs 24-bit / 352.8kHz. There's no technical reason, the output is just not DSD256 even if the app indicates it...

Hope it's ok to jump in here. I have FH5 and FH7 and recently bought the M11 to go with FH7. Several weeks in, I can confirm that the FH7 is a great match with the M11. Very revealing and dynamic, great soundstage. Smooth sounding yet articulate. Never fatiguing. Over the FH5, the FH7 is a clear step up, with much greater clarity and definition of space. The FH7 sound much more alive than the FH5.
