Btw, I’m combing through the past posts in this thread and read that the M11 bypasses the SRC with any app? I use TIDAL. @gLer can you confirm?
I was under that impression as well, although neither Tidal or Tidal via Plex sound as good as FiiO Music or Poweramp. That could just be that Tidal itself just isn’t as good as my local files, which is definitely the case on my desktop system (either Hi-Fi or Master).

I've always felt we would never get true local playback quality from streaming, great for the car or gym but for deep music time nope not for me :p

Wow Fiio M11 and Fiio FH7 is the best combo I've ever owned

I've read this a few times now. What is it about this combo that I'm that is noteworthy which I'm missing out when I hook up my M11 with say, Audiosense T800?

T800 might be a mismatch due to impedance at 9.2 ohms and the M11 is suggested for 16 ohms causing hiss.

This talk brings up the question for us noobs, what is the preferred listening app+service combo for M11 users? I've never tried tidal or qobuz, and was thinking about it. Would I be wasting my money? (since we're talking 20+ $/month for the higher fidelity options). Do the apps fail to make good use of the M11 hardware? Recommendations appreciated for high res streaming options on M11.

Using <16 ohm is bad idea (hisssssssss) unless you have IEMatch.

Ifi IEMatch is rated for Input Impedance: > 16 Ohm and the 4.4 Ibasso is rated for Input Impedance: > 20 Ohms

Maybe I repeat some things already said. The first impression (having had the SR15) is of an excellent assembly, robust and elegant. High quality material. Perhaps the display has a coating that is a bit too plasticky. Certainly huge and this doesn't make it very portable.
With surprise I see that there is also the Italian language that the SR15 did not have.
Just done the aupgrdae to 1.0.6.
Finally a more open system (android) even if I haven't seen the limitations yet.
I'm satisfied for now, we'll see later

certainly, but not a nice touch. seems too flexible and delicate. But the touch works well.
I think a protective film is highly recommended.

I understand the plastic feeling but when you say flexible and delicate have you peeled or removed it from the M11?
