She wont admit it but she loves the M11 but says and I quote "£450 on a mp3 player thats half a second honeymoon"

Juj

She is right that it is half an honeymoon... your half..
Lol

You can see why I'm a singleton after 24 years of attachment

I hope you are better after your heroics and no lasting after affects.

I may have a FIIO x1 2nd gen for sale if I get up courage and push the boat out on M11.

Bad news - eardrum killing big is still there!

Charged my M11 to 100%, pressed play whilst still connected to charger...

Dangerously loud modem sounds blasted through my IEMs (using 4.4).

I’m just glad they weren’t in my ears at the time!!!

I remember when fiio first started, they had a tiny, hissy black amp- or was it white , can't remember and too lazy to look up. But it sounded pretty good and was cheap.

I has their first dap, and back then there firmware and support were um lacking. Heck even when x5iii came out firmware was slow and three were many problems and lots of haters.

But they've hung in there and now they're schooling other companies on how to make a proper mid price dap that sounds more like a flagship

Not sure - that’s what I’m worried about! Had my CA Solaris plugged in at the time!

The sound that came out of them was loud at even a meter away!!!

Did you listen when the device was charging or just at 100% as I'll try see if I can get same issue.

And are you only using 4.4mm? I have only 2.5 at the moment

Praying to the audiogods for you mate
