Is it safe to connect 2 headphones at the same time to k7 (bal and se outputs)?
I did not find this in the instructions, but it was forbidden to do this in the FiiO ka3 instructions.
I believe so. I think as long as they are not power hungry (High Impedance). I am sure FiiO can chime in...

Yeah, I think with the K3 it would overload it especially because it was USB powered. I really like my K3, but needed something I could easily switch between Headphones and Line Out without un-plugging and plugging-in everything all the time.

@FiiO

Any deadline for new stock of the PL50 plug US 120v on aliexpress?
I'm trying to buy there, but they say they are out of stock 120v US plug.

Will the PL50 also be released in red to match the red K7?
Dear friend,

The new US plug version will be available in our Aliexpress store at about next month.
We do not have the plan of a red version PL50 currently.

Best regards

Question, what function should i use if i connect the Fiio to another amplifier with passive speakers with the rca output; Lo or Pre?
Use Lo if you want to control the volume only from the other amplifier or use Pre if you want to use K7 to also control volume, either will work just in a different way :relaxed:

Hi @FiiO I just got my K7 and am worried about the build quality of the connectors at the back. The USB-B port seems to have some flexible movement (up/down)- am afraid this doesn't indicate a long life of plugging in and plugging out on this port. Do you have any words of help on this?

I actually prefer USB-B ports for desktop / non-portable devices. They're sturdier than USB-C, have fewer and larger connection pins. In case of eventual failure they're also easy to replace with minimal soldering skills. They've been used for printers for ages and I've never seen one fail.

A couple quick questions:
1) Is there a recommended way to have plugs for both Android and iphones ready without unplugging the USB-B in the back? Some kind of splitter? Or another alternative?
2) Are there any recommendations people have for a budget DAP as a transport that I can plug into the K7 and use the internal dac of the K7?
Thank you!

For iPhone a Ligthning to USB adapter is needed, and a USB-A to USB-B standard data cable. I wonder if there is an adapter for an Android phone that has a USB-A socket? Thus, the same cable could be used for both types of phones.

A short USB cable that's B Male at one end and A Female at the other end, like so:

Then you can just do all your plugging and unplugging in front of the K7 rather than behind it

Has anyone changed the K7 knob for another one like the K9Pro?

Waiting for delivery of my k7 to know the measurements of the knob, I still don't have the k7 in hand to check the measurements.
